Vision Hat

Wear what you want to become

Over the past decade, I’ve worn many hats — from business analyst to product owner, and from software engineer to leader of cross-functional projects. Each job taught me something new, like how expectations change, how responsibilities change, and how the same title can look very different at different companies.

In insurance, finance, logistics, and retail, one thing was always true: context is important, but clarity is even more important.

I didn't have anyone to help me when I moved to the U.S. ten years ago. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack while riding a rollercoaster when I was looking for a job. That experience had an effect on me. I learned how scary and lonely it can be to be in a new country and not know what to expect. This writing section “US-Compass” is for my cousins Shedge sisters, Shreeya and Arya, who I love the most, and for every new person who needs better advice than I did.

That’s when Vision Hat was born.

Anyone who is dealing with uncertainty can find a place here. Especially for friends who aren't tech-savvy but want to work in the tech industry, where words like APIs, WebSockets, and conversational artificial intelligence can seem like a different language. I believe that anyone who wants to work in tech should be able to. Don't let not knowing something stop anyone from entering this world. That's why I started making easier-to-understand content for the "Unplugged Tech" section, where hard ideas are explained in simple, everyday language.

I made a set of concept "hats" that are simple, visual, and easy to wear to make this learning more accessible. Each hat is a lens, a point of view, and a way to help you see clearly, learn easily, and grow without fear.

Vision Hat is here to help you feel seen, supported, and inspired, whether you're changing jobs, looking for new ones, or just curious.

Let's make the future one hat at a time.
